the pandemic changed our lives forever.
quarentine was a bittersweet time for us in the calega household. kids were schooling at home, projects long overdue actually happened... and loss.
it's the loss that's most indelibly etched on my memories of that time, so when an opportunity arose to help create a memorial for the pandemic, I jumped on it!
Dr. Hagn, an anesthesiologist at the University of Utah (and seriously one of the kindest people ever) collected Covid vaccine vials because they brought her hope during this intense period of practicing medicine. this project and her vision felt like an incredible way to heal our hearts and those in the community. read all about it here:
